I have a good problem, and I’m wondering if you can help me solve it.
I made ahhh-maz-ing babies and kids pieces (onesies, swaddles, union suits, beanies, socks) which I’m utterly obsessed with… but I can’t decide the best way to sell them. Partner with a boutique children’s shop? List them on my site individually? Or in bundles? Do an Instagram stories sale {does anybody still do those}?!?
As fun as creating a bazillion new individual listings sounds {it does not btw}, I don’t think that’s the ticket.
These beauties all been individually hand dyed (hand painted), hand marbled (using an artisan technique dating back to 12th century Japan), over-dyed, and in some cases hand embroidered to boot. As you can see, each piece is completely one of a kind 🦄 major eye candy 🍭 and major magic 🪄.

This bespoke napkin set was created for a very special birthday dinner— to be used as part of the celebratory table settings as well as a sentimental keepsake for the birthday girl. Kind of an amazing idea, right?
I dyed these over the course of two months, starting with a base color palette of light blues and nudes. Each additional color I introduced one at a time (varying my application technique) to create more depth. At a certain point I was hesitant to add more color and had a eureka! moment— I decided to embroider the pieces that needed that little extra pop with their own unique design, altering threads and colors and voila!

The first piece in a series of three. Three different tank tops with their own unique celestial designs, incorporating both natural and Procion-style dye… and most likely, hand embroidery à la this one. And holy moly this cotton is the softest! Good thing I ordered plenty of extras 😉
While we’re wrapping up 2022 I’d like to thank you for joining me here. You’re awesome.
