I call this type of pattern (which isn’t a pattern at all) my Secret Sauce style: hand dyed no less than half a dozen times, using multiple techniques, to achieve the different prints/marks on the cloth. While I’m dyeing this style of piece, I see it as an exploration of capturing color more than anything else— and I love how absolutely unique each one of these unicorns turns out.
