To quote the great Belinda Carlisle, “ooh heaven is a place on earth.” This piece is a total dream: lightweight, soft on the skin and perfect for layering. A riot of color in muted tones, topped with thousands of tiny abstract rainbow-confetti-sprinkle™ stitches. A total labor of love, slowly made over the course of months— and hours. I’m obsessed with creating moon phase pieces. I dye them intuitively, never having a finished design in mind as I begin. Utilizing dye, paint, fabric, and thread I turn each into a unique expression of functional art.

52% cotton 48% polyester | hand dyed with fiber reactive dyes | topped with cotton sashiko thread and embroidery floss
