I’m taking a natural dye print and paste class with Maiwa— and it’s so, so good.

Here’s what I’ve been working on: scouring・building printing tables ・ carving lino stamps・making stamping blocks from scrap wood + felt furniture pads・stamping + hand painting with homemade aluminum acetate mordant paste.

In case you’re wondering if I painted over where I stamped… probably, yes. I was distracted by a four year old asking me to paint his name on everything, get him more bubbly water and play the Super Mario Brothers soundtrack 🥴, so likely. And is that a boob stamp? Also yes.

Not only did I have the honor of day playing on With Love season 2, but I was also commissioned to dye wrap gifts for three of the angels in the Makeup Department 🙌🏻. An embarrassment of riches if you ask me.
