I love a well thought out, highly intentional design. I really, really do. And I thrive in a 🧼 spotless✨ workspace that screams minimalist and organized like those kitchen cabinets à la Sleeping with the Enemy. Labels forward, alphabetized and color coordinated you know what I mean? I realize some most/all of you are like
I just really like things tidy. So much.
For months and months I’ve wanted to go ham at marbling. So I studied books and read from the websites with the best SEO, then full up on words thought to myself (having marbled nothing):
Cut to recently— ready but a little fuzzy on recall I studied I skimmed I barely re-read my instructions while thinking: uh-huh uh-huh yep got it and decided to play things fast and loose, mostly just cramming my digits in the paint like a little goblin because I also ❤️ winging it and experimenting my way through a thing. So I flicked and flung with abandon, even hitting random items across the studio with color. Gracie aka Shop Cat ™ (not a cat, but a dog) also got herself some paint. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss, friends.
