Paint Pot Dresses | July

Some of the lovely paint pot dresses painted | in process this month.

Most receive at least half a dozen individual rounds of hand-painted color.

Some are also painted and embroidered as well.

You can also see a bit of the new studio in this video. While it’s much less a finished studio / art-specific space than I had previously… I still love it, because it’s mine!

Patterning like this is achieved by re-arranging fabric with each layer/process of color applied, while printing atop differently textured surfaces.

Drying between layers for 24+ hours

New pieces are popping up weekly, faster than I can list them online. If you’re in/near Los Angeles, I offer shopping appointments in studio by appointment. Plus, you’ll get first dibs on finishing line pieces I haven’t had the chance to share about yet.
